How to use it

Protects your ships from planet and monument radiation. There are four research levels.

This research protects ships only; it does not reduce combat damage. On a planet, Aegis provides additional protection. At monuments, only the ship’s radiation protection applies. Ships on your own planets use their commander’s current research level. Dispatched fleets keep the protection level they had at departure; later research does not upgrade them. Research requires Core 3 on your capital.

No prerequisite research · Command Core level 3 on the capital.

This project has 4 paid levels. Completed research applies across your planets. Payment comes from the selected world’s Store. Funding from another world does not create another research queue. Started research cannot be cancelled.

Reference values

Each row is the separate cost of reaching that level. Research time uses your capital’s Core even when a colony pays the bill.
