What kind of game is Astera Online?
A persistent multiplayer space strategy game with a 3D galaxy. Develop worlds, gather intelligence and dispatch fleets against real rivals.
Do I have to stay online?
No. Flights and production continue while you are away. Your next visit brings the outcomes of orders already in progress.
Can I lose my capital?
Your capital cannot be captured. It can still be attacked and damaged. Colonies can change owners, so expansion carries a different risk.
Where can I learn the rules?
The public Wiki explains buildings, research, ships, intelligence and combat. Read it without an account, then try the practice galaxy.
How do seasons work?
Each galaxy has a season start and end. Plan flight returns around closing time, then review the final standings. The next galaxy begins a new competition.
