Account and security

Keep your commander name and password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done from your account. Do not try to access another person's account, gain an unfair advantage with automated tools, or work around security and access limits. Do not use in-game identities or content to impersonate someone else or to infringe another person's rights.

Seasonal play

Planets, fleets, resources, rankings and similar progress belong to the game season they were earned in. At the end of a season the world may be reset, or a new season may begin under different rules; no permanent in-game property right is created. The game may be paused, data may be corrected, or access may be limited for maintenance, fault repair, abuse prevention or security. Significant changes are announced in the game where that is possible.

Optional planet skins

Planet skins are optional, account-bound cosmetic purchases. A skin changes appearance, including the recovery-shield look, and gives no gameplay advantage. Purchases are one-time and are not subscriptions. The cosmetic entitlement stays with the account across game seasons, although seasonal planets and progress may reset. For purchases through Polar Checkout, Polar is the merchant of record and processes payment. See Pricing for the items and Refund and Cancellation Policy for refund and withdrawal requests. Access to a fully refunded skin ends when the refund or chargeback is approved.

Paid skins are available only while Astera Online operates and your game account has access. Buying a skin does not promise that the online game will operate indefinitely. If we permanently discontinue the game, we will announce that in advance where reasonably possible. Any refund or other remedy remains subject to applicable consumer law and our Refund and Cancellation Policy; this term does not waive those rights.

Content, advertising and rewards

You are responsible for the chat and clan messages you write being lawful and within the community guidelines. Infringing content may be removed and the account involved may be restricted. If advertising or optional rewarded advertising features are enabled, the conditions of any reward are stated on the screen that offers it: the reward is granted only after an advertisement is watched to completion, it has no value outside the game, and it cannot be sold or transferred outside the game's own mechanics. Loading an advertisement, completing it, and receiving a reward may depend on technical availability. No advertising reward that is not currently offered is promised by these terms.
