What data is processed

When you create an account, the game stores a commander name, a username and a one-way hash of your password. An email address is not required to register. While you play, the game stores planets, fleet movements, resources, season results, battle reports, clan and chat messages, feedback you submit, and session timestamps. Connection information such as an IP address may be processed in access logs to keep the servers running and to prevent abuse.

Your browser keeps preferences such as language, sound, graphics quality and guide progress in local storage. A bs_refresh cookie keeps you signed in. The Cookie Policy lists every record in detail. If you contact support by email, your message and the address you wrote from are processed as well.

Why, and who receives it

This information is used to authenticate your account, run the game, show multiplayer interaction, protect the service, diagnose faults and answer support requests. Other players can see your commander name and the actions and messages you make public in the game; they cannot see your password hash. Hosting and infrastructure providers process technical data as part of delivering the service.

Where it is configured, Google Analytics measures how the game is used. When Google's advertising service is enabled, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies and similar identifiers. Third party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. For the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's certified consent message collects advertising choices where it applies. Visitors elsewhere, including Türkiye, are asked by the game's own privacy notice before any non-essential analytics or advertising storage is used. Until a choice is made, nothing that could identify you is stored: the Google Consent Mode signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage all start denied and are only updated after your explicit choice. You can reopen the choice at any time from Privacy & cookie settings in the game menu.

Optional purchases

For optional planet skins purchased through Polar, Polar processes checkout, payment details, receipts and refunds as the merchant of record. Polar may collect your purchase email, billing details and payment method information under its privacy policy. Astera Online receives the order reference, purchased item, payment or refund status and game account needed to deliver or remove a skin. We do not receive or store full card details. We use your IP address to determine your country and show the applicable offer currency. Our server sends that IP address to country.is for the lookup, then passes it to Polar when creating a checkout so the quoted price matches the checkout. Country results are cached for up to one hour.

Retention, security and your rights

Account and gameplay data are kept while your account and the related seasons exist, and for as long as a legal obligation or a dispute requires. Backups are deleted on their own cycle, so granting a request does not mean every copy in a backup disappears at the same moment. Technical and access controls are applied; no service on the internet can promise absolute security.

To access, correct or delete your data, email samety3503@gmail.com and state your commander name. Further information may be requested to verify your identity. An account deletion request is reviewed by the operator; fleets in flight, records that affect other players, or legal retention duties can prevent some information from being removed immediately. Children and changes

The game is not directed at a specific group of children; the intended audience is adult players. A date of birth is not collected. Parents should supervise children's use of online games and chat. Where a user is known to be a child, personalised advertising is not served to them. If the way the service works changes, this policy is updated and the new date is shown on this page.
