Delete your Astera Online account
Astera Online is published by Samet Yıldırım. Your account is shared across the website, Android and iOS. Deleting it permanently removes your account and progress across these platforms.
Request account deletionRequest deletion without the app
- Email [email protected] with the subject Astera Online — Account deletion.
- State your commander name and username, or the recovery email linked to your account. Explicitly request deletion of your account and associated data. Never send your password.
- Follow the ownership verification instructions from support. We may request further information to prevent someone else deleting your account. You do not need to reinstall the app.
You can also request deletion on the website or in the app: sign in, select Delete account before choosing a galaxy, or open Menu → Account → Delete account during play. Enter your current password and confirm the permanent loss.
A request receipt means the request was recorded. It does not mean the account has already been deleted.
When access closes and deletion completes
The team verifies and reviews your request. When the request is approved, access closes across all platforms. New sign-ins and existing sessions are refused.
Fleets already in flight and other players’ operations must finish safely before deletion completes. They are not cancelled to accelerate deletion. Support can confirm the status and expected timing of your request; reply to the same email with your request reference.
What is deleted
Deletion removes the username, commander profile, password hash, recovery email, sessions, game progress, personal season results and rewards, feedback and performance recordings associated with your account. Your planets are removed; captured seeded colonies return to the galaxy.
Your public chat messages, private conversations involving your account, and owned uploads are removed. A temporary file-system failure keeps uploaded files in a removal queue for automatic retry. Purchase notes, customer identifiers, account purchase codes and private checkout links are removed.
What may remain and for how long
- Backups: at most 30 days from the snapshot. Daily and private release database/media backups expire on this schedule. They are not all rewritten at the moment your account is deleted.
- Safety reports: reports you submitted are deleted with your account. If another player reported you, their report may retain a private snapshot of the reported message or profile, their explanation and a review decision for up to 30 days from the report. The deleted account link is removed; routine backups can retain an earlier copy for up to 30 days from the snapshot.
- Shared history: public announcements and galaxy transfer records retain their content with the deleted account link removed. These shared records have no fixed expiry.
- Minimal purchase records: payment provider, order reference, product, amount and delivery/refund status remain without the game account link. They prevent duplicate delivery and repeated refunds. These records have no fixed expiry; private purchase notes and customer identifiers are removed.
- Security email audit: content-free events lose the account link and expire within the security service’s 30-day cleanup cycle. A hashed email suppression record may remain to prevent unwanted delivery.
- Restore protection: a signed one-way account identifier, request reference and timestamps prevent a restored backup from reopening a deleted account. Records remain while deletion is pending; completed-account records are removed by a 30-day cleanup cycle.
Payment and email providers process their own records under their policies. Include any related provider data request in your support message. Support correspondence and connection logs are described in the Privacy Policy.
